My oldest, wonderful son got a baseball to the face, pushed his teeth back- a fat lip and blood everywhere and chose not to miss school because he had a test.  How is it that he is such a good kid?  So off to the dentist we go tomorrow.  Wish us luck!



Braces it is! 

Well it's been one year as of yesterday the the two little guys have entered our lives.  Yesterday we dedicated them to God and it was beautiful.  Gavyn turned two on the 13th.  I can't believe how much he's grown.  Saturday we had a party for both the boys and that was really nice too. We look forward to our journey together in this thing called LIFE.

Just an update....
We now are legal guardians of Brayden and Gavyn.  I for the life of me cannot understand some of this state's procedures...Birth mom can still take us to court every 6 months to try and regain custody..at what point does this state say enough is enough?  It's been 11 months, hard to believe the boys birthdays are next month which will be our one year anniversary of having them with us.  They have come soooo far in one year. Like completely different children.  It's been quite the journey, but here's to hoping the journey ahead is a little more pleasant than the last year :)

Yesterday we received guardianship of the boys.  What a breath of fresh air.  I am troubled over their parents choices in life, and I pray that they find their way before something trajic happens.  I know God has a plan for these little guys and I'm excited to be a part of their lives as they acheive their life goals.  My life has changed forever, but forever I will be greatful.  I love these boys so much and I am so glad God decided to use me and my husband a flow through for these boys.  God answers prayer...Amen!
